Why commission a piece of art?

The most comments I get from patrons are: I love the feeling of this painting but it’s too small or too large for the wall I want to hang it on. I want a sculpture for our entrance-way and I‘ve been looking everywhere. I want a piece that’s more personal. I would love to have a portrait of our children. These are just a few examples of why a lot of people commission pieces of art.

Most of our artists will consider doing a commissioned piece. Not a copy but a unique piece in the same genre that you like. Choose an artist that you like and do a little research on their past and present work. We will arrange a meeting with the artist and begin the process. You will need to have in mind the size and other pieces that you like. The artist will then determine the price, if you agree they will then do a thumbnail sketch of the new piece for your approval, once you approve the sketch they will tell you how long it will take. When all is done a 50% deposit is required to proceed. We will keep you updated during the creative process.
